RE-BIKE-CYCLE

Wood-to-Wonderful’s Re-Bike-Cycle program which began in 2007 was a place for needy children in Reading to obtain a refurbished bicycle. Up to 500 donated bikes per year find their way back into circulation. At present, the Re-Bike-Cycle shop is headed by Richi Delgado, a bike mechanic and cyclist who is refurbishing donated bikes to raise funds for the following purposes:

  • Bike shop expenses
  • Costs for forming a mountain bike club
  • Costs involved for a junior mountain bike team
  • Costs for repairing bikes to be donated to needy children
